The total carbohydrate and sugar figures come from the gummy base rather than the actives. At 2 g of sugar per serving, with 1 g of it added, this sits comfortably inside the daily added-sugar ceiling the American Heart Association suggests, and it is still a real number worth knowing if you are managing blood glucose (the CDC).

The FDA statement sits in a box on the back: these statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
