What does the Burntide label say outside the Supplement Facts panel?
The Burntide label prints more than the Supplement Facts box. It carries a statement of identity, a net quantity of 30 gummies, suggested use, a caution panel, nine other ingredients, a distributor address, the revision mark REV 04/24 and a boxed FDA statement. The lot code sits on the jar base.
- The front panel says Weight Loss Support and Dietary Supplement / 30 Gummies.
- Suggested use: one gummy daily, about 30 minutes before the morning or afternoon meal, with a full glass of water.
- The caution panel covers medication, pregnancy, nursing, children, the safety seal and storage.
- The distributor line reads Burntide, 11870 62nd St N, Largo, FL 33773. The manufacturer is not named.
- Lot BUR-26/BU-4642 is on the base of the jar, not on the label artwork.
- Nine seals appear, and no seal is an approval of the product.
Most people read the Supplement Facts box and stop. The burntide label has more to say, in smaller print, on the front, the sides and the base of the jar. This post walks through eight of those items, one at a time, so you can hold your own jar in your hand and tick them off.
Every item below comes from the photographed label, which we transcribed on our supplement facts page. Where the jar is silent, we write not published.
What is on the front of the Burntide label?
The front panel prints three lines. First comes the brand name, Burntide. Second is Weight Loss Support. Third is Dietary Supplement and 30 Gummies.
Those lines do three jobs. Dietary Supplement is the statement of identity, which tells you the product is a supplement and not a drug. 30 Gummies is the net quantity. Weight Loss Support is the claim line, and it is the first of five support statements that we explain in our page on what the label says it supports.
At one gummy a day, 30 gummies is one month. That simple sum is the easiest way to plan when you will run out.
What are the 8 things on the Burntide label outside the panel?
Here is the list in one table. The sections below take the less obvious rows in turn.
| # | Item | What the jar prints |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Statement of identity | Dietary Supplement |
| 2 | Net quantity | 30 Gummies |
| 3 | Suggested use | Adults, one gummy daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional |
| 4 | Caution panel | Medication, pregnancy, nursing, children, seal, storage |
| 5 | Other ingredients | Nine items, from corn syrup to beet root powder |
| 6 | Name and place of business | Burntide, 11870 62nd St N, Largo, FL 33773 |
| 7 | Revision mark | REV 04/24, bottom right corner |
| 8 | FDA statement | Boxed on the back, beside the claims |
Two more items live elsewhere on the jar: the lot code and best-before date on the base, and a row of nine seals. We cover both below.
What does the suggested use and caution text on the Burntide label say?
On the jar, the suggested use tells adults to take one gummy daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional, about 30 minutes before the morning or afternoon meal, with a full glass of water.
Notice the words morning or afternoon. The label lets you choose the meal you never skip. It does not say evening, and it does not say to take the gummy with no meal coming.
The caution panel is longer, and it is the part most buyers skip. It says that if you are under a physician's care or taking medication, you should consult your healthcare professional before using the product. Anyone who is pregnant or nursing, or who has a known medical condition, should talk to a physician before use. Three short cautions follow: keep it away from children, avoid it if the safety seal is damaged or missing, and store it in a cool, dry place.
- A damaged seal means stop. Do not open the jar.
- A cool, dry place means not above the cooker and not in a humid bathroom.
- Out of the reach of children matters because the gummy looks like a sweet.
What is in the other ingredients line of the Burntide label?
Nine items: corn syrup, purified water, pure cane sugar, apple pectin, citric acid, sodium citrate, tapioca starch, natural flavors and beet root powder. They form the gummy base. The Supplement Facts box lists the active blend separately.
The base explains the sugar line. One gummy has 8 calories and 2 g of total sugars, with 1 g added. It also explains why the label can say vegetarian friendly. Apple pectin is used in place of gelatin.
The active blend is one entry of 525 mg, naming apple cider vinegar and BHB calcium, magnesium and sodium. The label does not split that 525 mg. A published split would let you see how much of each ingredient you get, and this label does not give it. The Saldanha 2023 paper on proprietary blends explains why reviewers ask for it.
Who makes it, according to the Burntide label?
The label says it is distributed for Burntide at 11870 62nd St N, Largo, FL 33773. That is a name and place of business, which the FDA requires on a supplement label. It is not the name of the factory.
The manufacturer is not named anywhere on the label or the sales page. We do not guess one. Our desk, Burntidedaily, is a USA Authorized Burntide Retailer in New York. We are not the manufacturer.
Look for the revision mark too. REV 04/24 sits in the bottom right corner of the artwork. It tells you which version of the label design you hold. If a jar you buy shows another mark, the design may have changed, so ask the order desk if you are unsure.
Where is the lot code on the Burntide label?
It is not on the label artwork. The lot and the best-before date are printed on the base of the jar. For the lot we hold, the code is BUR-26/BU-4642, and the traceability reference is BUR-4642-26-BU.
That second code is not a laboratory result. It lets a batch be traced. No independent assay of the lot has been supplied to our desk. If you want to match your own jar to an order, our batch verify page explains how, and the order desk is on +1 (877) 257-0825.
Keep the jar, or a photo of the base, until you are sure you will not need to ask about it.
What do the nine seals on the Burntide label mean?
The jar shows nine claims in badge form: Made in USA; FDA-registered facility; GMP quality; GMO free; natural ingredients; gluten free; dairy free; vegetarian friendly; and physician formulated.
Every one of them describes sourcing, content or factory procedure. No seal on the jar amounts to an approval of the product. FDA-registered facility is a statement about a building. Physician formulated names no clinician anywhere on the label or the sales page. We cover each badge in our post on FDA approval and the nine label seals.
What does the FDA box on the Burntide label say?
The back of the jar carries a boxed statement. In short, it says the Food and Drug Administration has not evaluated the claims, and the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
That box is required wherever a supplement makes a structure-function claim. It tells you the claim has not been checked by the agency before sale. No dietary supplement is FDA-approved, and Burntide is no exception.
The FDA publishes a labeling guide for supplements at its dietary supplement labeling guide. It is the place to check what a label must carry.

Who is named as the maker on the Burntide label?
The label says distributed for Burntide at 11870 62nd St N, Largo, FL 33773. The manufacturer is not named on the label or the sales page.
Where do I find the lot code on a Burntide jar?
It is printed on the base of the jar with the best-before date. It is not on the label artwork. The lot we hold is BUR-26/BU-4642.
What does REV 04/24 mean on the Burntide label?
It is a revision mark in the bottom right corner of the artwork. It identifies the label version. Its exact meaning is not explained on the jar.
Does the Burntide label show it is FDA-approved?
No. The FDA does not approve supplements. The label shows an FDA-registered facility seal, which describes the building, and a boxed statement that its claims are not evaluated.
Does the Burntide label list the amount of each ingredient?
No. It lists one proprietary blend of 525 mg for apple cider vinegar and three BHB salts together. The split is not published.
Our view
The burntide label is more complete than many in its class. It states what the product is, how many gummies are inside, how to take it, who should ask first and where it is distributed. It also gives a total for the blend, which some labels in this class do not.
What it leaves out is just as plain: the split inside the blend, the name of the maker and a lab result for the lot. Read those gaps before you buy, and use the 60-day window if the product does not suit you.
Like every supplement, Burntide has no FDA approval behind it. Your doctor or pharmacist is the one to ask about your health and medicines.
